Tina Bohlman
Statement
"Always looking at the world around me with painters eyes, I believe it's important to think ahead and plan for tomorrow...but an artist must also be in the moment...the now. Aware that my time in a particular moment is short, the challenge is to capture light, shadows and shapes before they change. Every stroke must be without hesitation. Plein air, watercolor, and dealing with changing weather and light conditions requires strong technical skills and a large measure of intestinal fortitude. It’s a marathon race with the sun every day; spirited, emotional…. and exhausting. I love it."
